The Tyee Club of British Columbia began as a group of anglers who returned to Campbell River each year in pursuit of the elusive "Tyee". The Tyee are Chinook salmon, 30 pounds or larger. Those willing to meet the challenge, can fish their way into membership. The club only operates during Tyee season, from July 15 to September 15 annually. Address: .
