Saratoga Beach is located at the north end of the Comox Valley, at the mouth of the Oyster River. To access the beach take hwy 19 north of Campbell River for just over 20 km and follow the turn-off. The shallow waters, which gently slope for well over a mile and continue in the gentle waters of the Strait of Georgia make Saratoga Beach a perfect swimming spot for children. Miracle Beach and Oyster River Regional Park are located nearby and offer campsites.
Miracle Beach Park is located 28 km south of Campbell River on Highway 19, off Miracle Beach Road. Visitors can enjoy the large sandy beach as well as walking trails and a nature house. Bring the tent or RV and stay for a few days at one of the 193 vehicle/tent sites. A group BBQ area has picnic tables, washrooms and a changing area.
