Campbell River Birdwatching

Aboriginal Journeys is a First Nations-owned-and-operated adventure tour company based in Campbell River. Wildlife, marine-life and nature viewing excursions are offered, including whale watching and grizzly bear viewing from viewing platforms on Aboriginal lands. The professional and informative, locally-born guides with a minimum 30 years experience on the waters, also educate visitors on some of the region's Native history and culture. Painter's Lodge is a full service fishing resort that offers a variety of outdoor activities, including boat tours, whale watching, fishing trips and more. Guest services can also book horseback riding trips, hiking excursions and helicopter tours. Campbell River is considered the Salmon Capital of the World and the lodge offers fishing trips on its 17-foot Boston Whaler. Trips explore Discovery Passage and anglers enjoy catching Chinook and Coho salmon.
